Whether your planning a corporate event, school field trip, club outing, scout activity or just looking for something to do with a bunch of your friends, we offer several options for groups of 8 or more to experience “Paint Your Own Pottery,” “Make Your Own Pottery,” or Glass Fusing. We can even host an event at your location! Call or email for details.

Party Arty!
Celebrate in our party room! We provide table covers, materials, tools and instructions for your group of 8-24! Finished pieces are individually wrapped, labeled and ready for the host family to pick up in 7 days. Available party times are 10, 1, and 4 am and 7 pm on Saturdays, and 12 and 3 pm on Sundays. During the week, times are customer’s choice. Weekend parties (Friday afternoon through Sunday and Monday school holidays) require a minimum of 8 guests. During the week, only 6 are required. A $50 deposit will be required to hold your date. Below are our standard party packages:

Other Options
You don't just have to do "Paint-Your-Own" pottery for your party anymore. We can customize a party package to suit your particular needs. Great fun for birthdays, of course, but also for baby or bridal showers, anniversaries, going-away parties, office events or any excuse to celebrate! Choose the "Paint Your Own" Pottery, or substitute "Make Your Own" Pottery on the wheel, a Glass Fusing Project. or PaintMe T-Shirts instead. We can also do themed parties, including featuring our new line of Disney bisque. Or we can package everything up for you to take home and celebrate there. Groups of 8 or more with a collective purchase of $200 or more can reserve our party space for up to 3 hours. We can provide wine glasses, a wine opener, ceramic serving platters and countertop for a buffet. A $50 deposit holds your reservation. Call us to get a customized package created especially for you.

Schools, Clubs, Youth Groups

Scouts
Girl Scouts & Brownies, Cub Scouts & Webelos: One 1-1/2 hour session. Groups of 8-24 (siblings age 7+ are welcome). Each scout will receive 3 lbs. of clay to create one project on the wheel plus one hand-built project. Cost is $25 per person. (Clay, bisque firing, glaze, and glaze firing included). Girl Scouts will earn the Ceramics and Clay Badge. Brownies, Cub Scouts, and Webelos can complete requirements for any art-related badges or pins, or just come in to have some fun.

Boy Scouts: BSA Pottery Merit Badge (Instructor is a registered merit badge counselor with the Carroll District for both the Pottery and Art Merit Badges.) To complete the pottery merit badge will take a minimum of 3 visits of about 1 hour each. Included in this is a basic history of pottery, learning and trying several hand-building techniques for wet clay, making a pottery piece on the wheel, and also learning how to properly load a kiln. Each piece made by the scout will be bisque fired, then painted by the scout and fired again to create a finished glazed piece. This is a fairly easy badge that is also very fun and interesting for a scout to do. Cost is $45, including instruction, materials and use of all studio tools and equipment.

• Party pieces will be wrapped, labeled, and bagged for host parents to pick up in one week. Kindly inform your guests of this practice.
• Children in parties may paint no more than two items totaling the maximum value allowed for the party package selected.
• Single items that cost more than the party limit will be charged the difference plus half.
• For items over two per child, regular studio pricing applies, even if the total of these items is less than the limit.
• Children MUST remain in the party room at all times.
• Adults wishing to paint in the studio during a party may do so. Adults who are not painting may be seated in the studio, but might be asked to give up their seat for a customer.
• GTP employees are available to monitor your party and assist your guests, but may not be in the room the entire time.
• Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Parties are scheduled for 2 hours. An additional 1/2 hour may be purchased at the time of the party for $25. If the room is not vacated within 10 minutes of the end time of the party, the $25 fee WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR BILL automatically.
• In children’s parties, a GTP employee will ring up the party when the room is vacated. Once the room is clear, please proceed to the check out counter. In adult parties, a GTP employee will begin the “Check-out” procedure 15 minutes before the end of the party to ensure enough time to ring everyone up.
