GTP’s 2012 Summer Art Camp
Glazed to Perfection is offering our Summer Art Camp again this year. The program is still patterned after our successful Art Destinations™ Summer Camps which have run through the Montgomery County Department of Recreation now for 12 years. We have always had a packed program and fabulous feedback from all the kids. Many children—boys and girls alike—come for 2, 3, 4, or even more sessions, year after year. This program has been designed for children 8 to 15 to let them have access to lots of supplies and to allow them to create at their own pace, through experimentation, with limited, but targeted direction. We also use a lot of everyday items and transform them into works of art. There are few set projects—just a lot of ideas and materials for them to work with. In most programs, the kids will all make the same project and they all look alike. Not us. We have found over the years that children don’t want more school—they want fun—so we give it to them (but, they learn in spite of themselves.)

Tuition: All-Day 9 am to 3 pm —$265 per child per session (same as last year), payable at the time of registration. Register for multiple sessions at one time and take $10 off each additional session.

*No camp the week with the 4th of July.
**Campers may not be dropped off before 8:45 am and may incur additional fees if not picked up within 15 minutes of the end of camp. Aftercare is available on a case-by-case basis, for an additional fee. Call us with your specific requirements.

You will be notified ASAP if the session you requested is full. Transfer requests require two weeks notice and are based on available space.

* We will be closed on Mondays, except for CCPS holidays, at least through the end of February. On Mondays when Carroll County Public Schools are off, we will open 11 am to 6 pm. We reserve the right to close up to one hour early if there are no painters in our studio. If you are coming by to pick up a piece, please call ahead to let us know you are coming.
